ASUS Transformer Prime: Connectivity video demo

So. Another device, another connectivity demo.

I can't help myself.

I just love really utilising the full potential of my mobile devices, be they phone or tablet, and I'm always surprised to see just how many users of these devices are unaware of lots of the really cool stuff you can do with them.

Anyways, it's pretty obvious what the video here is all about, so enough preamble - jump in and check it out!

Oh, and be sure to use the really useful navigation links in the description beneath the video if you only want to check out certain bits!

Catch you soon with some more Transformer Prime content.

  1. DO you have an Asus part number for the USB adaptor socket to Asus "custom interface" you used for the Logitech Unified USB keyboard dongle?

  2. ukandroid - The part you are looking for is the Asus part 90-XB2UOKEX00020 - I can't find it available in stock anywhere. Maybe Androidnz can let us know where they got theirs from!

  3. There is alot of bad press regarding a degredation in performance of wifi and bluetooh when they are used at the same time. Does anyone have a take on just how much of a problem this is?

Also the GPS. Is it as bad as they say? Anyones input would be appreciated before I decide to fork out for my first tablet!

  4. @TechGuy: Thanks for fielding that one! I got mine from PBTech here in New Zealand, they have quite a few in stock but no idea whether they would ship internationally.

@NCnz: I still need to test the GPS, it's not a feature I use on my tablets at all, so not a big deal for me but entirely understand peoples concerns (also I thought little point in doing that before the ICS update in case they made whatever software improvements are possible). Will advise soon on that. I've not had any problems using both bluetooth and WiFi together (yet, at any rate).
