Hitting up the link to the premium apps link takes you to a page titled the 10 Billion Promo, which presumably means the Market has recently crossed a momentous threshold for app downloads and Google wants to celebrate.
Currently the following titles can be had for just 10c:
- Great Little War Game
- Asphalt 6
- Sketchbook Mobile
- Minecraft
- Soundhound
- Endomondo Pro
- Swiftkey X
- Paper Camera
- Fieldrunners HD
- Colour and Draw for Kids
If you look at some of the icons in the promo banner you can see many apps like Read it Later and Fruut Ninja that don't appear in the current selection of apps, so it looks like there is more to come!

Was super stoked to see this when I checked my Twitter feeds this morning. Picked up Minecraft & GLWG. Can't complain about the price, and rather impressed to see they localised the currencies too.
ReplyDeleteExcellent. I'm buying the games for my hubby. I've told him he needs them because you blokes keep raving over them :) Some of the apps I've not heard of before. I know it's just $0.10 but I don't like to clutter my phone with unnecessary apps. Yeah yeah, I know I can uninstall them. Ok, I'm talking myself into it ;-)

Can't wait to see what else is served up to us in the coming days! Looks like Read It Later Pro is coming - did you notice the promo banner in the Market changed and the app icons are different?! I think the one I captured there is for another day, because they took and down soon after I grabbed that screen!
Yeah I bought Minecraft asap. Asphalt 6 for $0.10 was a pretty good deal too. Apparently more apps are coming in the near future including ADW Launcher EX as well!
