A brief history of blogging (mine, to be precise)

I thought I might post some links to some of the other stuff I've blogged this year, mostly for Clove Technologies in the UK (one of the best sellers of unlocked smartphones in the business, so if you're in the market for a new handset be sure to check them out!).

Incidentally I will be getting a Galaxy Note from them ASAP at its release, optimistically slated for November this year - so be sure to stay tuned at their blog and mine at that time for a massive indepth review from the nitpicking perspective of a real user, using the handset as their daily driver for several weeks as the review progresses.

Anyways, read on after the break for lots of content and stacks of YouTube videos to prove it all happened...

I'm probably most well known for the youtube video above, which was the first to really showcase the USB OTG (on the go) functionality for the Galaxy S II.

I then did a bunch of other stuff for Clove in relation to the Galaxy S II, including a mammoth 5 part review which I still think is one of the most realistic reviews of the device on the net:

Part One - First impressions, build quality, design and ergonomics, screen, speed and synthetic benchmarks

Part Two - GPS

Part Three - Media

Part Four - Gaming

Part Five - Bugs, battery life, camera, telephony, conclusion

I did a much more brief review of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Google I/O edition, and naturally couldn't resist playing some retro games via emulators with that device either:

...and of course I demonstrated MHL a few more times, because I like it so much:

MHL Explained, HTC Sensation MHL Demo

I did a comparitive review series of the Galaxy S II Vs the HTC Sensation (which I never finished because I couldn't stand using the Sensation any longer, make of that what you will, its a good device but I just don't feel even remotely inclined to sit on the bench like many reviewers seemed to):

Part One - First impressions, build quality, design and ergonomics, screen, speed and synthetic benchmarks

Part Two - Entertainment: media, gaming, browsing

You do have to give it to HTC for creating a beautiful user interface:

...and of course I reviewed some accessories:

Mugen Extended Battery for the Galaxy S II, Proporta USB Turbocharger 5000, and the Phonejoy bluetooth gamepad.

There were a few other little bits and pieces here and there, but that's the abridged highlights for the year to date and my work with the fantastic Clove Technologies.

Whether you've seen them before, or for the first time now, I hope the videos inspire you to get more use and fun from your Android devices.

As always, your feedback is appreciated.
